Gynecology: the gynecologic oncology team includes physicians and biologists. The two groups cooperate both in clinical setting and in translational research. The main lines of research are: ovarian cancer: phase II-III clinical trials in cooperation with national (MaNGO) and international collaborative groups: ENGOT, GCIG, EORTC; basic research on the evaluation of predictive and prognostic significance of alterations in transcriptional regulatory mechanisms, analysis of mRNA/microRNA/lncRNA expression profiles, Hypoxia-related microRNAs, claudin-low subtype cancer, study of HDAC6 inhibitors in ARID1A mutated cancers, DigiPico sequencing of cancer; endometrial cancer: ProMisE molecular characterization, L1CAM expression, biomarkers in liquid biopsies. Translational studies develop with national and international centers: Mario Negri Institute, University of Padua, Veneto Institute of Oncology, Yale University, University of Oxford, ENITEC group.Obstetrics: the main lines of research are the following: Antenatal Diagnosis of Placental Attachment Disorders (ADoPAD), Automated Analysis Algorithms in Second Trimester Obstetric Ultrasound (AUTO-2T), INTERCOVID: A prospective cohort study of the effects of COVID-19 in pregnancy and the neonatal period,TRAP Intervention Study TRAPIST, TRUFFLE 2 Trial Italian coordinating center, Accuracy of serial ultrasound in congenital cytomegalovirus infection (APres-cCMV), Pregnancy and Neonatal Outcomes in COVID-19 (PAN-COVID), Cesarean Scar Pregnancy Registry, Delivery mode in pregnant women with low-lying placenta: MODEL-Placenta
