SUMMARY:5th Silesian Workshop on Gynaecologic Oncology
DESCRIPTION:The 5th Silesian Workshop on Gynaecologic Oncology will be devoted this year to advanced surgical techniques in the treatment of ovarian cancer. \nThe event will be held in two parts:\n• 24 October 2025 (online) – a lecture session with experts from Poland and Europe\, dedicated to upper abdominal surgery and urinary tract reconstruction in the course of ovarian cancer treatment.\n• 7–8 November 2025 (Katowice) – a live surgery demonstration and practical cadaveric workshops\, during which participants will be able to practice the discussed procedures under the guidance of experienced tutors\, including: Prof. Alehandra Martinez\, Prof. Santiago Domingo\, Prof. Artem Stepanyan\, and Prof. Ilker Selciuk. \nTarget audience: Medical doctors specializing or in training in obstetrics and gynaecology\, gynaecologic oncology\, and surgical oncology. \nRegistration: Applications including the registration form\, CV\, and a motivation letter (up to 500 words) should be submitted via the website www.laboratoriumginekologiczne.pl by 30 September 2025. SUMMARY:Class Ultrasound International
DESCRIPTION:The main purpose of the course is to involve participants in the daily routine of life at “Class Ultrasound\,” within a center dedicated to the ultrasound evaluation of gynecological diseases\, also intersecting with the reality of the operating room\, where the high prevalence of oncological pathology allows for better characterization. \n  \nStarting from ultrasound clinical cases\, diagnostic hypotheses will be proposed to differentiate between benign and malignant pathology and malignant disease staging. Through intraoperative comparison\, the final histological diagnosis will be reached. \n  \nTheoretical references and literature updates will be recalled gradually based on the clinical cases examined during the course days.
