We are one of the largest departments for Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Switzerland and cover all aspects of the resident program. As a tertiary care center we offer a broad array of specialty and subspecialty services including Maternal Fetal Medicine (www.kssg.ch/geburtshilfe), Neonatology, Urogynaecology (www.kssg.ch/beckenbodenzentrum), Endocrinology and Reproductiv Medicine (www.fiore.ch). Since 2021, we are a certified Cancer Centre (www.kssg.ch/gyn-krebszentrum) and serve as a referral centre for smaller hospitals in the area. Besides our high standards in patient care, we focus on high quality of our training program and tutorial system for our trainees. We have a well structured skills and simulation training curriculum that takes place in our state-of-the-art simulation facility (https://www.kssg.ch/ostz). We encourage a good working atmosphere and team spirit in the department and set a high value on active involvement of senior staff in the training of residents.
