On 15 November 2025, Professor Frank Louwen resigned from his position as President of EBCOG to avoid any overlap, as he had taken up the position of President of FIGO one month earlier. The President-Elect, Associate Professor (Hon.) Sambit Mukhopadhyay, had already worked closely with Prof. Louwen on EBCOG business for the past two years and will now initially take over the final year of Prof. Louwen’s term as President and then complete his regular term of office. EBCOG thanks Professor Louwen for his service and leadership as President and looks forward to working closely with him as President of FIGO.
Additionally, an election was held for the role of Pan-European Region Executive. Professor Fionnuala McAuliffe won a second term in this position. We thank all of the participants for their candidacy.
