EBCOG Visiting and Accreditation of Ob/Gyn training programmes in Europe: the way forward in quality of service
The mission of the European Board & College of Ob/Gyn (EBCOG) is to harmonise postgraduate training in Ob/Gyn in Europe at the highest possible level in order to provide optimal health care in all areas encompassed by the definition of the specialty. This has lead to three core activities:
1. development of general and subspecialty training programmes;
2. introduction of a Visiting and Accreditation system; and
3. set-up of a Committee for Standards of Care.
