The department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology fulfils both general and special requirements for training in general obstetrics & gynaecology. There are 18 staff members with full employment contract and eight staff members working part time. Number of residents varies between 10-14. There is an active Midwifery school with 62 midwives mainly working in the obstetric unit. Robotic surgery centre was accredited as European case observation da Vinci centre with 80 complex robotic surgeries and possibility of proctoring.
